5 Signs You Need Air Purifier Installation Services

Blog

People spend most of their time indoors, and their exposure to poor air quality puts them at danger for lots of ailments. Since indoor air is usually prone to pollutants than outside one, investing in a purification system can ensure cleaner and safer air in the house or office. So if you haven't installed an air purifier, here are signs it is the right time to install it.

1. Sneezing Continuously

Continuous sneezing even after a cold season indicates allergens or air pollutants in your house. The chances are that pet dander, dirt, dust, and pollen are floating around the house. Even worse, the elderly or your kids are more vulnerable to allergic sneezing due to their generally weaker immune systems. This is a clear sign you need an air purifier.

2. Stale and Stuffy Indoor Air

Do you always encounter a stale or bad smell upon entering your house? Then it is the best time to deal with that foul odor wafting through the house. The purification system will eliminate most household odors from things like garbage, dirty diapers, and smoke. Therefore, you should stop masking such odors with scented candles or air fresheners and go for a perfect solution.

3. Varnish and Disinfectants Lingering Smell

Carpeting, adhesives, varnishes, and disinfectants sometimes release harmful smelly substances or volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to the air inside. An excellent air purifier can remove all VOCs inside your house to ensure a healthy living environment.

4. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Patients

Having emphysema or a chest condition is a sign that your house requires air purifier installation. COPD victims have sensitive airways, and living or breathing in polluted air worsens the condition. Eliminating allergens around the house is crucial to enhance a clean and safe environment.

If you or those around your house smoke, it leaves non-smokers prone to second-hand smoking effects. Cigarettes release tons of harmful chemicals, and they can be eliminated from the house using an air purifier.

5. Loud Snoring

Allergens such as dust, pet dander, and pollen cause airways to become more congested when inhaled with indoor air, which can lead to snoring. Upon installing an air purifier, you will have better sleep and snore less.

If you notice any of the above signs, don't hesitate to invest in the right air purification system that fits your home. Be sure to look for brands with both High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters and built-in ionizers that will last longer and save energy. Cool off Your AC Bill

Every summer, I agonized over energy bills that would shoot into the stratosphere as a result of my efforts to keep cool in the heat. Every time I turned the temperature down, my bills increased. This summer, I decided to take some of the control over my energy bill back. I installed reflective film on my windows that reduced the amount of light and heat coming into the house. I started serving more cold meals or asking my husband to barbecue outside, so that my air conditioner didn't have to compete with the hot stove, and I started doing laundry at night to reduce appliance heat in the house at peak times. I also had ceiling fans installed. So far, the difference in my bill has been tremendous. This blog is a way for me to explore other ways to reduce energy drain during the summer months.
